About Me

I am a GIS consultant with a background in academic research and spatial analysis. I specialize in turning complex geographic data into practical, accessible tools for organizational decision-making. My work spans the complete GIS project lifecycle, from data collection and digitization, database design in PostGIS/PostgreSQL, spatial analysis in Python, and production web map deployment via MapServer, OpenLayers, and Leaflet on Apache infrastructure. Prior project experience spans forestry, wildfire management, and environmental research, with additional work in the urban planning and utilities sectors.
